There is little guidance in the public domain related to Electric Vehicle Charging Points.  The Orkney Renewable Energy Forum (OREF) have taken the initiative and produced a document in collaboration with the Electric Vehicle Association of Scotland.  It can be located in the following link and the authors would welcome feedback:
