A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document relating to the disposal of lateral flow device (LFD) tests. This has been written in collaboration between the Department of Health and Social Care, the Environment Agency, Public Health England and Defra, and hopefully picks up the questions that members have asked about the management of LFD testing wastes.
These FAQs will be supplementary to the guidance that Defra has been working to produce that will summarise the disposal routes for LFD testing waste at various settings. This guidance is progressing through central government clearance and will be added to gov.uk as soon as possible.
