NIC workshop - digital communications
The National Infrastructure Commission has been tasked by Government to put together the first ever National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA). This is an in-depth look at the UK’s major infrastructure needs over the coming 30 years, covering Digital Communications, Energy, Transport, Water, Waste and Flood Risk Management.
To help us undertake this significant task, we are holding a series of highly interactive workshops. This is not a seminar where you’ll be talked at, but a time and place to have your views recorded, shared and challenged. The future of infrastructure is a complex issue and there is no simple right answer, but we hope to develop better thinking with your help. We want to capture different perspectives as we develop a rich and robust evidence base to inform the NIA.
This workshop will explore Digital Communications, and we are inviting a wide range of informed stakeholders to come and share their knowledge with us, and help consider challenges, responses, trade-offs and priorities. This event is the final in series of eight, each with a focus on a different infrastructure sector.
