This Policy Challenge Paper has been prompted by the Government’s review of local enterprise partnerships. With many LEPs as members, ADEPT wants to support the evolution of LEPs. We believe we should build on the most effective elements of the current system and tackle the areas where improvements can be made, for example, in transparency and accountability. We would encourage the development of real strategic partnerships with LEPs to tackle the challenges of Covid recovery and climate change.
