Last chance to register for the National Traffic Managers’ Conference 2023
There is limited time left to book your place at the National Traffic Managers’ Conference, which takes place on Thursday 5th October in Northampton.
This free event welcomes traffic managers, corporate partners from key service sectors, professional bodies and civil servants from across England. The agenda includes thought-provoking sessions led by industry leaders and experts, covering topics such as road network resilience in the face of climate change, technological vulnerabilities and security of the driven road network, infrastructure challenges in the era of electric vehicles and active travel, as well as innovative tools and techniques in traffic management.
Speakers include Dr. Hugh Deeming from HD Research, Marc Clothier from the National Police Chiefs' Council, and representatives from the National Cyber Security Centre, among others. The conference will also provide opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and engaging in Q&A discussions.
We are pleased to confirm that the conference will be going ahead, despite the ASLEF rail strike on 4th October and overtime ban 2nd-6th October. We’ve been informed that trains will be running as usual on 5th October, although it is likely that timetables will be amended. We recommend that delegates check with their travel provider in advance of the conference. The venue has ample free parking and details will be sent to all delegates ahead of the event.
Book your free place here (booking closes midnight, Monday 2nd October).
